Great piece with a wealth of information, thank you Tracy!
One follow-up question:
Why would the timeline to full production be lower if the reopening is one month from now (4 to 10 weeks after reopening) vs reopening today (8 to 14 weeks)?
I would have expected the opposite as one month from now it would be more complex to reinstate former production?
Thank you for this amazing article! Could you please also comment on the large difference between the futures price and the spot price of oil? Your thoughts on this are greatly appreciated!
Many thanks Tracy. This is an excellent piece on what is going on in the ME re oil and gas. Eric Nuttall of Ninepoint Energy has been saying a similar thing regarding the inevitable hit to crude production coming down the pipe. I really cannot believe that the market has not yet decided to price this in. Am I missing something? In any event. I will be adding to my O & G positions.
Exactly the data and analysis I needed. Thanks for that great post !
Best detailed analysis I have seen to-date. Thanks Tracy.
nice summary (and disturbing)
